Fans of responsible and legal redevelopment: If you are planning on going to the September 13th Grantville Stakeholders Committee Meeting, forget about it. It's been rescheduled to September 27th. Remember, this is supposed to be the big one, the one they've been promising for months and putting off for months—the Grantville traffic study. You may be interested learn how cramming 11,000 new residential units into Grantville will improve traffic flow. Here are the meeting details: What: Grantville Stakeholders Committee Where: Mission Valley Church of the Nazarene, 4750 Mission Gorge Place When: Monday, September 27th @ 6 PM Here's the e-mail from the planner in charge: "The September Grantville Stakeholders Committee Meeting will be held on Monday, September 27th at 6:00pm. To allow sufficient time to complete the analysis of all three Land Use Alternatives (D, E/F, and G), it was necessary to move the meeting to the fourth Monday of the month instead of the second Monday. THERE WILL BE NO MEETING ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 13TH. Attached is the agenda for the September GSC meeting on the 27th. Background material for the Traffic Analysis presentation will be distributed via email the week prior to the 27th and will be available at the meeting. Our lawsuit to stop the transfer of over $31 million of Grantville property tax to the County via the C Street trolley line will be heard on October 29th. (This is the money transfer scheme that allows Grantville redevelopment to happen.) Our attorney fee obligations are practically met, but we still need about $10,000 to cover court costs. You may donate at GAG HQ or at our next meeting on October 7th at the Grantville VFW. Check out www.GrantvilleActionGroup.com for details. Thanks! Brian Brian T.
